Child Modeling Book

As a photographer, some of the most asked questions that I get are about child modeling and “how to get children into the modeling profession.” Always, my response is the same: “I am a photographer and not a talent representative or talent agent. I do not have the knowledge or the skills to do so. I am a photographer. I take pictures.”

I understand the constant questions. However, understanding the questions doesn’t make me an expert in the field of modeling!

What I do know is that in the absence of the proper information and knowledge of this thriving and lucrative industry, most experiences by children and their supportive parents are predictably disastrous! No matter how cute and/or talented their child is! Almost 100% of the time!

Consequently, I always encourage parents to get informed about the industry before they do anything else. I strongly urge parents that want to help their child have a successful experience in this industry to become informed first! There are many books available on the industry.

I highly recommend "Child Models - Your Little Super Star." The author, Renee Lauren brings real world experience as a former model. You can cut through all of the mystery of child modeling with this book. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
