"Creative Wedding Photographer Tips"

Within the specialty of wedding photography there is the “creative wedding photographer.” There is no debate that wedding photography is one of the most lucrative specializations. The “creative wedding photographer” that also provides professionalism and quality is very, very successful.

Being sensitive to the occasion is critical. Most people expect sensitivity, understanding and (some degree) of patience from the photographer. The knowing photographer is controlling the flow of what must be done (to get all of the ‘basic’ wedding shots). Balancing sensitivity with a sense of purpose is a practiced behavior for successful wedding photographers.

Weddings are very significant occasions for many people – more significant than child birth in some cases! Capturing the ‘special moments’ of a wedding is a critical component in the basic criteria of wedding photography. In the case of “creative wedding photography,” photography clients are expecting “more.” Whatever that “more” is must be provided by the photographer. All of us that enjoy photography don't necessarily enjoy or are very comfortable with wedding photography. We all have our reasons. On the other hand, many of us have no reservations, whatsoever! Most weddings are fairly standard, but most people getting married like to add a reminder of poignancy or humor.

Does the sentimentality of the day make you nervous? Knowing that there will be no ‘re-shoots’ allowed! For some of us, this is nerve-racking. Do you have the ‘eye’ for the unusual shot?
